The Saarland University Medical Center (UKS) is a high-performance medical institution with a history spanning over 100 years. INITIAL SITUATION

The existing UKS website had been in operation since 1998. The outdated content management system (Typo3) led to technical issues, and both the structure and design were no longer up to date. With over 100 editors managing content in a decentralized manner, there was a lack of coordination and efficiency. Navigation was complex, the site was not responsive, and SEO optimization was insufficient.
